Comvergent are pleased to announce their partnership with LightSpeed Broadband, a full fibre internet service provider based in Lincolnshire, to help bring gigabit connectivity to the East of England.
Towns across the region, which have suffered over the years with poor connectivity, are set to benefit from speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second, thanks to LightSpeed’s broadband network serving residents and businesses alike.
Comvergent were selected to work alongside LightSpeed thanks to their ability to offer a full turnkey service, including in-house design and build. They will be working in partnership to deliver planning, design, spine construction including chamber builds, sub-ducting and cable blowing and splicing. The in-fill works consist of both underground and overhead cabling and splicing works, followed by network commissioning.
Managing Director of Comvergent, Paul Garston, explained; ‘We’re itching to get started on this project – it’s exciting for us to continue to expand our UK FTTx presence and be part of the impressive project that LightSpeed Broadband are leading.’
Dave Axam, Chief Operating Officer of LightSpeed says; ‘We’re pleased to have a strong partnership with Comvergent – their design and build experience were the exact match we were looking for to ensure hassle-free project delivery. These are exciting times for digital connectivity, and we are moving at ‘light speed’ to bring LightSpeed Broadband to the East of England.’
