Comvergent was recently commissioned to complete a 5G ‘Tactical to Strategic’ build, taking place at the Amtico Chimney in Coventry, UK.
The project involved installing new antennas, as well as SETs and SEBs. Shortly afterwards, the redundant RRUs were then safely removed.
The whole project was completed within one day, and as a result of the upgrade, capacity for the local area has increased, offering end users greater coverage and a faster, more reliable connection.
This is just one example of a number of 5G sites that Comvergent are helping to roll out across the UK.
